We were 8 ladies sharing Stony Point Beach House. We liked the fact that each room had a shower. Even though it was cold and rained almost the whole weekend. It did not put a damper on our stay and enjoyment. We went for a walk to the Penguin Colony and the beach. It is a 5-minute walk from the house. Gretha our host was gracious and even offered me the use of the Wi-Fi at her private house as I had to attend a meeting which happened during loadshedding. Stony Point does have Wi-Fi but of course, with loadshedding it does not work. Thank you, Gretha, for your hospitality and for checking up on us. Highly recommend Stony Point for a holiday stay any time of the year.
The house had everything needed for a lovely getaway from City hustle and bustle. The fireplace was really great and heated up the entire first floor within minutes. The Host was very friendly and accommodating. The house is a few 100m from spotting penguins. Will definitely be back in the future.
All the rooms have an en-suite bathroom. There is a lovely outlook onto the mountains and sea. Just a short walk to see the penguins. We made full use of the lovely fireplace since it was a cold, wet winter weekend. Greta was very helpful.

The house is within walking distance of the penguin colony, as well as the restaurant and the beach.

Host is very friendly and helpful. She is quick with answering questions and goes the extra mile to help. The house is beautiful and spacious. It is close to the penguin sanctuary and the sea. It has a lovely pool and fireplace.

We enjoyed our stay here so much! The house is so clean and tidy and very well furnished. The balcony is wonderful for a morning coffee and to enjoy the beautiful view and the winter sun all day. The hostess, Greta, is incredibly helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

The owner was very helpful. The house is very tidy and has been very nicely redone and has everything you will need. The TV with Netflix and Showmax was also nice, especially if you couldn't hang out outside because of the weather. The gas grill also helped a lot when the wind blew. Great location - just around the corner from the penguins. An extra bonus was the alarm that you could activate when you are not at home. We will go again for sure!
Laurence is a fantastic host, and we hope to see you again soon. The house so close to the sea and also easy to find, if you come from the Cape side. We had severe wind in Bettys, but with the lovely big TV (has Netflix and Showmax), the kids were very happy with being mostly inside. The beautiful deck with the gas grill also kept us happy for the time in the house. The house is super clean and new, also has pretty much everything you could need, just bring your clothes.
